KUALA LUMPUR - Companies registered on the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) online portal may apply for the Projection of Expatriates for Employment Pass (EP) and Professional Visit Pass (PVP) for the year 2026 starting from 15 December.

The division said the projection application is applicable for use in its respective year only.

“Any projection balance for the year 2025 needs to be utilised this year and will not be carried forward to the year 2026,” it said in its website.

To apply, companies must log in to their ESD account, click on “Applications”, then “Projection” located in the “Setting” tab on the left column of the screen, and select “Projection Year” before requesting a “New Projection”.

The ESD also reminded applicants to update the latest e-SSM before proceeding to submit the projection request and to fill out all the information required.

Companies are further advised to choose the correct projection year and position group.

“Projection requests have been simplified and will be instantly successful upon request,” the division added.
