JAKARTA - The Indonesian government launched Karirhub, a centralized job portal platform developed in collaboration with eight major job portals, aiming to create 3-4 million job opportunities in 2026 while combating widespread employment scams.
Ministry of Manpower Secretary General Cris Kuntadi announced on February 11 that Karirhub serves as a tool to facilitate centralized and secure job searching in response to Indonesia being identified as one of the countries with the largest job scams, according to Seek, Jobstreet's parent company.
"Karirhub becomes an entry point that makes it easier for job seekers. Job vacancy information is increasingly centralized, the sources are clear, and the vacancies displayed are verified by the Ministry of Manpower's Labor Market Center so that the public is more protected,” said Kuntadi.
“In addition, applicants can choose the most practical application method according to the available integration scheme.”
Job scams have long been a public concern in Indonesia. In October 2025, House Commission IX member Nurhadi highlighted that numerous incidents, including worker exploitation, are currently taking place.
To address this issue, the Ministry of Manpower is collaborating with eight job portals to develop a more reliable and integrated platform.
"Moving forward, this collaboration will continue to be expanded and strengthened to make it easier for the public to access reliable job vacancy information, while opening up more cross-sector employment opportunities," Kuntadi added.
The platform offers a broad range of job types, from finance and accounting to cook helpers and drivers. The platform is also accessible to graduates of elementary school, middle school, and high school.
