JAKARTA - InJourney Airports reported Rp10.23 trillion in operating revenue for the first half of 2026 on July 23.

The company said operating revenue increased 3% from the same period in 2025. Non-aeronautical businesses contributed about 38% of the total, up from 30% before the merger of the former Angkasa Pura I and Angkasa Pura II airport operators.

Examples highlighted by the company include airport shops, restaurants, duty-free outlets and lounges. InJourney Airports said stronger commercial income supported its results as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East put pressure on the aviation industry.

“The transformation carried out under Danantara has allowed InJourney Airports to maintain revenue growth amid global challenges, supported particularly by stronger non-aeronautical business,” President Director Mohammad Rizal Pahlevi said in a statement issued July 23, according to a Pantau report.

InJourney Airports manages 37 airports across Indonesia. The company said its commercial expansion has focused partly on Soekarno-Hatta International Airport near Jakarta and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.

At Soekarno-Hatta, the operator has reorganised Terminal 3’s commercial areas and developed a shopping arcade in Terminal 1C that passengers and other visitors can enter before reaching the restricted departure area.

Ngurah Rai Airport uses a single-flow commercial layout with duty-free shops, food and beverage outlets, and lounges. The operator has also added security-screening facilities that it said shorten the departure process and leave passengers more time inside the terminal.
