JAKARTA - AirAsia announced a fare campaign on June 23 covering selected international routes from Indonesia, with discounts of up to 20% for passengers who book by June 28. The travel window runs from August 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, covering trips from Indonesian cities to Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.

The campaign is available exclusively through the AirAsia MOVE app and airasia.com. The airline said the offer applies to selected routes in its network, including direct flights from Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, Bali, Makassar, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Batam, Yogyakarta and Pontianak.

The Malaysia routes include Jakarta to Kota Bharu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu; Medan to Kuala Lumpur and Penang; Surabaya to Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Penang; Bali to Kuala Lumpur; and Makassar, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Batam and Yogyakarta to Kuala Lumpur. Pontianak–Kuching gives the campaign a cross-border Borneo route.

AirAsia also listed selected routes beyond Malaysia, including Medan–Bangkok and Bali–Phuket in Thailand, plus Bali–Perth in Australia. “It is time to travel again and create new experiences,” AirAsia said in the June 23 release.

The offer is limited to selected routes. AirAsia said passengers may get one schedule change without a change fee, but any fare difference still applies. The release also says passengers can move flights without a processing fee, subject to the stated terms and conditions.

Passengers booking through AirAsia MOVE can also get up to 30% off Value Pack during initial booking, subject to availability. The pack includes 20 kg of checked baggage, standard seat selection, an in-flight meal and other travel services.

The campaign sits inside AirAsia’s wider regional network. AirAsia X Berhad says the group operates more than 150 destinations and 300 routes, supported by 16 strategic hubs across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia.

The booking deadline is June 28. Travel covered by the promotion starts on August 1, 2026 and runs through March 31, 2027, with route availability and add-on discounts subject to AirAsia’s stated terms and conditions.
